  • 2 bulbs Fennel trimmed and quartered
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 Lemon zested and juiced
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. 2. Add fennel quarters to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. 3. Pour in chicken broth, lemon juice, and zest. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. 4. Cover the skillet and reduce heat to low. Simmer until fennel is tender, about 20-25 minutes.
  5. 5. Serve warm, garnished with additional lemon zest if desired.
