Ingredients

  • 1 cup walnuts toasted
  • 1 cup red bell peppers roasted and peeled
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon cumin ground
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions 

  1. 1. Toast the walnuts in a dry skillet over medium heat until fragrant, about 5 minutes. Let cool.
  2. 2. In a food processor, combine the toasted walnuts, roasted red bell peppers, minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, ground cumin, salt, and red pepper flakes. Process until smooth.
  3. 3. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve with pita bread or fresh vegetables.
