Dough
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Instant yeast
- ¾ cup Warm water
- 2 tablespoon Olive oil
Filling
- 1 cup Feta cheese, crumbled
- 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Dried mint
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, sugar, and yeast.
Add warm water and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover and let it rise for 1 hour.
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a bowl, mix feta cheese, mozzarella cheese, parsley, and dried mint.
Divide the dough into small balls. Roll each ball into a circle.
Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture in the center of each circle. Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges to seal.
Place the fatayer on a baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
