Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g Green Beans trimmed
  • 1 large Onion chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 400 g Tomatoes chopped or canned
  • 60 ml Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Water

Instructions 

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and sauté until soft and translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Add the green beans, chopped tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
  5. Pour in the water, bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and cover the pot.
  6. Simmer for about 45 minutes, or until the beans are tender and the sauce has thickened.
  7. Adjust seasoning if needed and serve warm.
