Fava Bean Dip / Bissara / Fava Bean and Mint Dip

Main Ingredients
- 2 cups Dried fava beans soaked overnight
- 1 cup Fresh mint leaves
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
- ¼ cup Olive oil
- to taste  Salt
- to taste  Black pepper
- 1. Drain and rinse the soaked fava beans. 
- 2. In a saucepan, cover the fava beans with water and bring to a boil. Simmer for 20 minutes or until tender. 
- 3. Drain the beans and transfer to a blender. 
- 4. Add mint leaves, garlic, ground cumin, and olive oil to the blender. Blend until smooth. 
- 5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve warm or at room temperature.
