Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Dried fava beans soaked overnight
  • 1 cup Fresh mint leaves
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • ¼ cup Olive oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Drain and rinse the soaked fava beans.
  2. 2. In a saucepan, cover the fava beans with water and bring to a boil. Simmer for 20 minutes or until tender.
  3. 3. Drain the beans and transfer to a blender.
  4. 4. Add mint leaves, garlic, ground cumin, and olive oil to the blender. Blend until smooth.
  5. 5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve warm or at room temperature.
