Ingredients 

Hummus

  • 2 cups cooked chickpeas
  • ¼ cup tahini
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • to taste salt

Kawarma

  • 1 lb ground lamb or beef
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • to taste salt
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions 

  1. 1. Blend all hummus ingredients until smooth. Adjust seasoning.
  2. 2. Heat olive oil in a skillet. Cook lamb/beef with spices until browned.
  3. 3. Spread hummus on a plate. Top with spiced lamb/beef. Serve warm.
