- 500 g fresh anchovies cleaned and filleted
- 200 ml white wine vinegar
- 100 ml olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic sliced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon peppercorns crushed
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
1. In a bowl, combine the white wine vinegar, olive oil, garlic, salt, peppercorns, and oregano.
2. Add the anchovy fillets to the mixture, ensuring they are fully submerged.
3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
4. Serve chilled as an appetizer or with crusty bread.
