Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Meat (beef or lamb)
  • 1 cup Rice uncooked
  • 1 large Onion finely chopped
  • 1 bunch Fresh Parsley chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • ½ teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 1 jar Grape Leaves rinsed and drained
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground meat, rice, chopped onion, parsley, salt, pepper, and cumin.
  2. 2. Place a grape leaf shiny side down. Add a spoonful of the meat mixture in the center. Fold the sides over and roll tightly.
  3. 3. Repeat with remaining grape leaves and filling.
  4. 4. Place the stuffed grape leaves seam side down in a large pot.
  5. 5. Pour chicken broth over the grape leaves. Cover and simmer on low heat for about 1 hour.
  6. 6. Serve warm with a side of yogurt or lemon wedges.
