Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sesame Seeds
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt

Instructions 

  1. Toast the sesame seeds in a dry skillet over medium heat, stirring frequently, until they are lightly golden and fragrant. Do not burn them.
  2. Transfer the toasted seeds to a food processor and let them cool for a few minutes.
  3. Process the sesame seeds until they form a crumbly paste, about 1 minute.
  4. Add the olive oil and salt, then process until smooth and creamy, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed.
  5. Transfer the tahini to a jar or airtight container and store in the refrigerator.
