Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 200 g Fish Roe preferably cod or carp
  • 200 g Stale Bread crusts removed
  • 1 cup Olive Oil
  • 1 unit Lemon juice only
  • 1 clove Garlic minced
  • to taste Salt

Instructions 

  1. Soak the stale bread in water for a few minutes, then squeeze out the excess water.
  2. In a food processor, blend the fish roe and garlic until smooth.
  3. Add the soaked bread to the processor and blend again until well combined.
  4. Slowly add the olive oil and lemon juice while the processor is running, until the mixture is creamy and smooth. Season with salt to taste.
  5. Transfer to a serving bowl and chill before serving. Enjoy with pita bread or vegetables.
