Ingredients 

Kofta Ingredients

  • 500 g Ground beef
  • 1 Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper

Yogurt Sauce Ingredients

  • 1 cup Plain yogurt
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon Salt

Tomato Sauce Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 can Tomato paste small can
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • ½ teaspoon Salt

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into small patties.
  2. 2. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the kofta patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
  3. 3. For the yogurt sauce, combine yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, and salt in a bowl. Mix well and set aside.
  4. 4. For the tomato sauce, heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add tomato paste, water, sugar, and salt. Stir well and simmer for about 10 minutes.
  5. 5. Serve the grilled kofta with a generous dollop of yogurt sauce and a drizzle of tomato sauce on top.
