Za'atar Manakish (Thyme/Sesame Flatbread)
A delicious Middle Eastern flatbread topped with a mixture of za'atar, olive oil, and sesame seeds.

Dough
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Active dry yeast
- ¾ cup Warm water
- 2 tablespoon Olive oil
Topping
- ¼ cup Za'atar
- ¼ cup Olive oil
- 1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, sugar, and yeast. 
- 2. Gradually add warm water and olive oil, mixing until a dough forms. 
- 3. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic. 
- 4. Cover the dough and let it rise for about 1 hour or until doubled in size. 
- 5. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). 
- 6. Divide the dough into 4 equal parts and roll each into a flat circle. 
- 7. Mix za'atar and olive oil to form a paste, then spread over each dough circle. 
- 8. Place the dough circles on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
